How to Export Data

While Q Method Software has its own data analysis engine, you can export your data and process it in an external software package like PQMethod.

To export your data, follow these steps:

1. Select the Study

After logging into Q Method Software, click on the title of the study in the Study List interface. This brings you to the Study Dashboard and populates the study's sub-navigation.

2. Click Study Analysis in the Left-hand Navigation

From the study's sub-navigation, click Study Analysis. This brings you to the Study Analysis Reports page, which displays any analysis reports that you have created.

  1. Find the study analysis report that you want to export. Go to the end of the row of that report, and click the ellipsis button:

  1. Click Download in the drop-down menu.

Your raw data will be in a ZIP file.

Unzip the file to see the raw data and reports.

Note

The exported files include a multi-part CSV file that contains all data from the downloaded report, as well as raw sort data that can be used in external analysis programs. In addition, any related survey responses will be available as separate CSV files included in the zip file.
